Attitude Determination and Control System

The Attitude Determination and Control System pole accommodates the procedure of controlling the satellite throughout its flight and keeps track of the attitude when cruising Earth.

Through sensor fusion and compound control, we aim to point the satellite towards the ground station, the Sun and make sure any tumbling of the satellite is controlled and safe. We design the control and state estimation schemes to reduce the satellite to a robust autonomous system, capable of handling sensor and actuator failures.
